About
Ivan Shenevsky (b. 1986, St. Petersburg, Russia) is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Vietnam. With a background in music and video production, his practice has evolved into a primary focus on painting, where he explores the interplay of instinct, emotion, and abstraction.
Artist Statement
My paintings emerge from instinct rather than preconception. Through spontaneous gestures and layered colors, I create abstract compositions that mirror both the turbulence and the beauty of the human condition. The canvas becomes a space where the subconscious meets the external world, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and uncover their own meanings within the work.
